Eva holding her cousin, Baby Autumn.
G made it home after hauling in 300 of 500 Dungeness crab pots. He’ll pick up the next two hundred pots after our trip to Las Vegas.
This will be the first time I’ve been on a plane in five years. The last time we flew, Eva was ten months old and it was mainly a trip to see G’s family in Florida and Arkansas.
On that particular trip, we did make a stop in Nashville and Memphis, which was awesome. We haven’t been anywhere on a plane since then, though. Vincent joined our family shortly afterwards and G’s fishing schedule became more hectic.
Today, Eva and I took a time out from a busy time of packing, cleaning, and other preparations to have a girls’ only lunch with my sis, niece, and mom. It was the perfect antidote to my pre-vacation nerves and we all had a wonderful afternoon!
So…here we go. Bags are mostly packed, house is mostly clean, and I am mostly ready to go. Oh, boy.
Have a wonderful time. The flight to Vegas is short.
Thank goodness for that!!! Thank you! Also, I got the invite and FB message about R’s party. I will be in touch about that!!
Sorry to miss out on the lunch as always. Wish I was on my way to Vegas. So fun!
